This sale is packed with some truly unique items. Lot 54 (bottom row center picture) is a hanging lamp made in-house by Disney for the Polynesian Hotel at Walt Disney World! My favorite lot in the whole auction might just be Lot 205 (bottom row left picture). It’s a 1979 exhibition poster for Isamu Noguchi’s iconic “Akari” lamps and it’s signed by Noguchi! We even have a few Akari lamps in the sale, like the one in the top row, left picture of the gallery above. Also in the top row, right picture, we have the El Toro desk valet that went viral on our tiktok this year. I’ll be sad to see him go, he’s been keeping me company on my desk the past few months.
We’ve been working diligently to get this sale ready for you all and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. As some of you might know, our beloved Shuttle bit the dust last month and had to be towed away. Despite the challenges this brought, me, Chad, Austin, and the whole crew are excited with where the business is heading.
There’s soon going to be a new chapter in the Dust Shuttle story and it all starts with this sale!
